The rest of my holiday in HU

2010. január 4., hétfő

Uh, sorry for not writing for so long time – Christmas and New Year’s feasts has ended, and I’m waiting in Taipei Airport again, so after 12 hours blank, I will arrive to Nagoya this evening 21:00. Till that time, let’s see what’s happened in Hungary after the 24th and 25th of December.

I haven’t seen one of my best friends, Gergő (also known as „Major” XD) for ages, so I arranged a meeting with him for the 26th, afternoon. When I lived in Hungary, we used to have some body building trainings together; actually, I think Xiao Bai would adore Gergő’s muscles, as it is his image of beauty. :P Anyway, this time I didn’t join the training, but I found an other friend, Gábor at his place ^o^ ! It was really great to see them, especially, as we are planning to have some travels in Japan and/or China around the year 2011, so we laughed and planned a lot together. Actually, it will be really funny, as Gergő is very BIG and looks like a giant for the Japanese, and Gábor is a bishounen in my view… if they reach these islands, perhaps they (i.e. the islands) will sink. XD Gergő, just ganbatte and let’s meet in JP!!

Gábor is also famous for being a passionate cosplayer – I will upload a photo of his armor as Griffith from the manga and anime „Berserk” – it is a real armor from metal, and it’s cca 30 kilograms – as Gábor himself is around 60 kilos, I think it is a smaller miracle that he could perform a fight scene with Gergő (who also had a quite impressive armor, and the wooden imitation of the giant sword of Guts O_o – I think those who know Berserk, can imagine… O_O), wearing this bunch of metal. XD But he has lots of other ideas for cosplay – he even made a school uniform from Revolutionary Girl Utena, my favorite anime ever! So I also had the first cosplay of my life in Gábor’s place – as our body-size is quite similar (although, I’m a little heavier :P) I tried on this uniform, and I loved it!! ^o^ Making a robe for a cosplay by myself is impossible for me, but this way it was one of my greatest Christmas gifts. So Gábor, thank you very much for this experience and see you in December again! ^^

On the 27th, we visited Kőszeg with my parents and my uncle (as I wrote before, I wanted to check the present state of our „別荘” – yes, in a quotation, although it will be bigger than I imagined O_o). This city is really my favorite; it’s a great place to relax and walk in forests or climb mountains, or to visit Austria. XD It is also very small and quiet, and there are lots of good pubs and restaurants. Unfortunately, it was raining when we visited -.- but it was still great to see it. Especially its castle is a great place, although, a „castle” in Hungary is not like お城 in Japan – castles are usually districts (say, 区域?) of towns, there you can actually live, although rents are especially high there, at least in the Citadel of Budapest.

On the 28th, I visited Gábor’s place (as I wrote above) and in the afternoon, I went to an Argentine steakhouse with my two cousins and the wife of my cousin Zoli. Obviously, the meal was delicious, but this occasion was mainly a great experience because we never meet and speak just the four of us – if the whole family meets, we speak very rarely with each other. And I’ve never eaten ice cream from the same cup with Ági, anyway. So in my view, this occasion makes family youngsters cohesion stronger ^o^ I loved it!

On the 29th, I went to some bookshops with Zsuzsi, and after that, we met her brother and watched Avatar in 3D! I enjoyed it a lot; it was a great time together! Checking lots of great books, chatting, and after watching this great movie… *__* nice! /Although, I was a little surprised on Zsuzs, because I offered that I gave her an air ticket to Japan as a present after her school leaving exams, and we can travel a little around, I can show her lots of sights and she can stay in my place – well, can you guess her reaction? „Oh no, the flight is sooo long…” „Oh no, its sooo complicated…” etc etc. Well, I think it’s quite rare to get an offer like this (=someone will invite you to the other side of the world, gives you an air ticket, pick you up in the airport, provides an accommodation, show you any sights etc), and there were lot of people who would ask only „When?” – and as she is supposed to be happy to see me – allegedly –, this way it would be only 6, and not 12 months between our meetings, so… O_o But „grass is green, sky is blue, Sun is shining and Zsuzs remains to be Zsuzs” – she just hates uncertain and unknown situations, that’s all. Well, I will never offer this thing her again, anyway./

That afternoon, we went to the theater again, and watched „Six weeks, six dances” – a great play, which is said to be better in translations than in he English original. Anyway, it was good, together with my parents, my uncle and aunt, my grandmother and my cousin.

On the 30th, we held a „Pre New Year’s Eve Party” with my friends :) – as they usually go to the countryside for New Year’s Eve, and that is always two or three days, and as in the recent years I always had exam period at this time and I had to study, so holding a smaller and shorter party become our habit. This time, I also met some friends who couldn’t meet me before Christmas – and finally, the party becomes quite long. X_x We had to sleep in the place of Zsombor, who is actually seems to be „terrorized” by his girlfriend ^^ – he was sooo scared that she will awake and see us sleeping there! It was very funny XDDD

Yup, we’re almost at the end. December the 31st, we made this meal together with my uncle for the whole family:

And we had our New Year’s Eve feast with my parents, our friends (=the parents of Zsuzs) and my uncle and aunt. Zsuzs made lots of beautiful meals for the occasion, so big respect for her. We laughed on some idiot zombie movies with Marc, drank champagne and watched fireworks around midnight. And guess what was my first thought about the New Year? That finally, we can go to China and Tibet with Paul and Liam ^o^…

It was great time in Hungary, but finally, I missed my friends in Japan, so now it’s time to go back. I have lots of things to do, and I tried to bring some presents for you guys. ^^ So, I’m looking forward to meet you! From this time, I’ll write in Hungarian, again – actually, English is more practical, but it is much easier for my family to read Hungarian, and anyway, I my style is also much better in my mother tongue. So, thanks you for reading, and if I go home to Hungary for Christmas this year, I’ll have some English blogposts again!

OK then, see you soon!!! ^___^

OMG OMG BERSERK PROJECT INVADES JAPAN!!44!!4!

Ahogy olvastam a bejegyzést, legalább annyit és olyan hangosan nevettem, mint amikor szemnélyesen beszéltünk a 2011-es Nagy Utazásról. :D Fantasztikus lesz, már alig várom. :D

És remélem, tényleg legalább akkora csinnadratta lesz a kiruccanás, mint leírod. Élmény lenne. :D
